Tybee Island is located south of Hilton Head Island, and not too far from Savannah. The beach is home to a number of beautiful Lighthouses, as well as museums dedicated to marine life and sea turtles, which would be a fun place to take the kids.
A great combo trip would be to spend a few days at the beach, and then visit Savannah, which is one of the South's most beautiful and culturally important cities.
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
If you're looking for a big, fun, exciting beach spot, then look no further than Myrtle Beach. It's a huge area that attracts tourists from all over the country.
